How IMB Began, and How It Works
A few minutes is all it takes to see who we are and how the whole process works, straight from the people who built it. Worth watching before you register.
The Inspiration Behind Our Work
Marry those that please you among women — two, three, or four. But if you fear you will not be able to deal justly [with them], then marry only one.
In plain words: Allah gives permission for more than one marriage to those who are able and willing to be fair to each wife — and just as clearly says one is enough for anyone who can't guarantee that fairness. Both paths are honored equally; neither is the "better" one.
Surah An-Nisa, 4:3
فَتَزَوَّجْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَكْثَرُهَا نِسَاءً
Ibn Abbas (RA) said to Sa'id ibn Jubayr (RA): "Marry, for the best of this Ummah had the most wives."
In plain words: having a large, well-cared-for family was never seen as a burden in the example the Prophet ﷺ and his companions set — it was seen as a strength.
Sahih al-Bukhari
None of this means IMB pushes anyone toward a second marriage — quite the opposite. Read who this path is (and isn't) for.
Our Six Core Goals
Grounded in Qur'an and Sunnah, every part of IMB's work serves one of these.
Real People, Real Meetings
View Gallery →Verified, Human-Reviewed
Every profile goes through a real admin interview and a mandatory in-person office visit — never auto-approved.
Privacy by Design
Photos are given only by male applicants and are never public. No photo is taken from women — only ID and the necessary documents.
Shariah-Structured Matching
Every profile explicitly records which marriage order — first, second, third, or fourth — is sought or accepted.
