Apply as a Groom — Ideal Marriage Bureau (IMB)
Submit your biodata online to find a bride through a Shariah-based, ulama-supervised process — for a first, second, third or fourth marriage. Membership is confirmed after review and an in-person meeting at the office (video call for those abroad).
Who can apply
- Muslim men aged 18 or over.
- Single, married (with 1–3 wives), divorced or widowed.
- Living in Bangladesh or abroad — expats are verified by video call.
- Willing to give true information and keep IMB's Shariah commitments, including justice between wives.

What you need
- A natural photo of yourself.
- National ID (NID) or birth certificate; for expats, passport and visa/iqama.
- Optional: your CV.

Common questions
Can a married man apply?
Yes. Men with 1, 2 or 3 wives can apply for a second, third or fourth marriage, committing to keep justice between their wives.
Can I become a member without visiting the office?
In Bangladesh, membership is only confirmed after meeting in person. Members abroad can complete verification by video call.
How do I get a bride's number?
After approval you can see brides' biodata (without name or number). When you collect a number for the set fee, the contact number shows at once and your CV is sent to her.
Will everyone see my information?
No. Your NID, phone numbers and address are seen only by you and the IMB team. Documents are stored privately.
