IMB

Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Working draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Update before the platform accepts real payments (Master Plan Section 14).

1. The Service

IMB is a Shariah-supervised matrimonial consultation and matchmaking platform, facilitating first, second, third, and fourth marriage as equally structured, admin-mediated paths, alongside a donation program supporting widows and the poor.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to marry under applicable law to register as an applicant. All information you submit must be accurate; knowingly submitting false information (including concealing an existing marriage) is grounds for immediate rejection or removal.

3. Human Review, Not a Guarantee

Every application is reviewed by our team, and every applicant must complete a mandatory in-person office visit before their account is approved. We do not guarantee a match, a timeline, or the accuracy of any other user's self-reported information — our review process reduces but does not eliminate that risk.

4. Fees & Payments

Current published fees (registration, number collection, premium profile, CV correction) are shown at the point of payment. Payments are processed by SSLCommerz's secure gateway (card, bKash, Nagad, Rocket or net banking); see our Refund Policy for cancellation terms.

5. Conduct

You agree not to use the platform to harass, impersonate, or defraud other users; not to attempt to bypass admin mediation to obtain another applicant's contact information; and not to share or republish another applicant's photo, documents, or personal details obtained through the platform.

6. Account Suspension

We may suspend or reject an account at our discretion, including on receipt of a credible report (see our in-app reporting feature) or on discovery of false information.

7. Privacy

Our data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Marriages facilitated through this platform, including second, third, and fourth marriages, remain subject to applicable Bangladeshi family law, including any required Arbitration Council process.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through our Contact page.
